Showcasing a Transitional Kitchen Design in Mesa, AZ
A Candlelight Transitional Arizona Kitchen
This case study showcases our latest project, a new build transitional kitchen in North Mesa near Candlelight Park , aptly named ‘Candlelight’. This kitchen’s beauty lies in its balanced blend of traditional and contemporary elements, creating a warm and inviting space that is both functional and aesthetically appealing.
Our design team, led by Josh, struck a harmonious balance between old and new in the kitchen design. The classic linen shaker cabinets, with their traditional design, formed the perfect backdrop for the modern elements in the kitchen. The glass-top storage compartments added a touch of elegance, allowing for tasteful display of kitchenware. Complementing these traditional elements, the white subway tile backsplash and Calacatta style quartz countertops introduced a contemporary touch, their clean lines echoing the minimalist aesthetic of modern design.
The island, a central feature in the kitchen, embodies transitional design, pairing a navy blue base with a white and gray quartz top. The inclusion of a navy blue island into an otherwise all-white, brightly lit transitional kitchen creates a stunning visual contrast that enriches the overall design. This bold choice encapsulates the essence of transitional style, which marries traditional and modern elements to create a timeless aesthetic. The blue island serves as a striking focal point, breaking the monotony of the white color scheme without overpowering it. In the context of a brightly lit kitchen, the navy blue also adds depth and dimension, offering a soothing visual respite amidst the sea of white. The versatile color also facilitates a seamless blend of styles, resonating with both the classic charm of traditional elements and the sleek sophistication of modern design. The island also serves as a functional space for serving and entertaining.
The rustic wood flooring blends in beautifully with the white cabinets, adding a farmhouse twist to the transitional design and grounding the room with its warm tones.
The lighting was integrated well, a thoughtful mix of pendant lights and built-in cabinetry lighting ensures that the kitchen is always bathed in a warm, inviting glow. This, combined with ample natural light, creates an ambiance that is both cozy and uplifting.
The cabinets, sourced from Waypoint Living Spaces, and the quartz, from Bolder Image Quartz in Phoenix, are testimony to our commitment to use only the highest quality materials. The result is a kitchen that is not just stunningly beautiful, but also robust and built to last.
The Candlelight project is a perfect example of a new transitional kitchen design, where traditional and modern elements come together to create a space that is warm, inviting, and brimming with style. The project showcases our commitment to creating designs that are not just visually appealing, but also functional, catering to the modern-day needs of our clients.
