Rich distressed maple with black glaze, framed with custom hood and anchored by a white with dark brown glaze custom finish on the island. The cabinets and hood are the statement on the walls, so the granite counters and travertine back splash are simple and understate, which allows freedom on the island to use a darker granite material to help it stand out.
